Young hunters offered rare hunting opportunity

Local Moore County landowner Herschel Neal has donated his pronghorn buck permit in efforts to give a young hunter a rare opportunity. Teenagers from ages 13 to 17 are encouraged to participate in this free event at the Moore County ranch.
The young male or female hunter will be accompanied by a local Texas Parks and wildlife Biologist and a local Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden. The winner of the chance to bag a trophy pronghorn buck will only need to purchase a hunting license, the young hunter will be furnished equipment and there is no experience necessary, just the thrill of the kill.
If the winner of the hunting escapade is successful in harvesting a pronghorn buck, the winner’s family has the option of getting a free European mount which is being donated by Frank Williams of Trophy Taxidermy of West Texas or having the animal mounted at their own expense. The winner’s family also has the option of donating the meat or having it processed at their own expense
